OUR PASTOR
Our Pastor, Rev. V. P. Jose, was born and brought up in a Pentecostal family in Vechoochira, Kerala, India. He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior when he was nine. He has received the filling of the Holy Spirit and was baptized when he was fifteen years old. After graduating from St. Dominic’s College, Kanjirappally, he started his secular job in Abu-Dhabi, U.A.E. As a member of the Abu-Dhabi IPC from 1977-1987, he was actively involved with the ministry in various capacities in the Church. While he was in Abu-Dhabi, he submitted himself to God’s calling for fulltime ministry, resigned his job, and joined Hebron Bible College in Kumbanad. He earned his B.Th to prepare himself for God’s work. Upon graduating from Hebron, he pioneered the Indian Pentecostal Church in Manimala, a place where there was no Pentecostal churches, and served the Lord there for 3 years.
He migrated to the U.S. in 1993 and was served as the pastor of various IPC churches including IPC Philadelphia, IPC Orlando, and IPC Atlanta. He was involved with the IPC Family Conference and was served as the local convener in 2001and as national convener in 2007. He also served as the secretary of the IPC South Eastern Region, the president of the same region, and as the member of IPC General Council.
Rev. Jose is an ardent student of the word of God, and earned his MTh from Newburgh Theological Seminary, Indiana, and is currently pursuing his D.Min. He is a well known writer and preacher of the Word of God and has published several articles in various Christian publications. During his nearly two decades of full time ministry, God has enabled him to save many souls from the eternal fire for the Lord’s Kingdom.
He is married to Sis. Molly and has two daughters, Priscilla and Pretty.
